3 paintings invited to "Small Works" show at Gallery North

I got invited to show 3 paintings in a juried exhibit at Gallery North

I even got an award for this one called "Beyond the Surface

When I went to the awards reception, I got to meet a lot of the artists there, and Barbara Noonan, the juror spoke to everyone in such a nice way.  She especially recognized the supporters of the artists and I realized in a flush of emotion how much support I get from my family and friends.  I especially thought about my husband and how much he encourages me to be authentic.  That's the greatest goal as an artist is to just be authentic and true to what your artistic vision is.  All the studying and preparing and resources etc all just line up in rows ready to serve the vision.  Authenticity is like a beacon in a way. I am ever grateful to have the time and opportunity to work on this....

The show is up until March 30th.
