Oscillate inhabits a timeless space between two individuals, mapping the subtle terrain of interaction: intention and misunderstanding, proximity and distance, the fluid choreography of connection.

More than a depiction of the dynamic between two points, this series reflects a wider human truth, that we are elevated when we remain open to one another.

The tide goes low and I go with it,

Dried out sand burning my feet.

I don’t know where it will take me

Or how it will change me, but I know I must go

Pull me back, flood my wounds

Bring my eyes up to yours, just like before

Rest your chin on the shelf of my shoulder

Speak your mind, I can take it I swear

Pick a point out on the horizon

And let’s put our eyes on what takes us from here

I know you and what we’ve been through

I see the lay of the land like a map of us too

What’s not fair

What’s not just in the world

You draw the lines 

I pull them tight

"The vision kept coming to me, kept slipping away, kept changing. It is of light coming down and crashing like a glowing wave, like a graceful slide. The glow of hope, blur and clarity dancing the dance of eternity. I kept reaching for it and it kept slipping through my fingers.

I decided to paint it over and over because it moves like clouds. It is never static. It is some kind of Divine dance between clarity and obscurity; between logic and nonsense, between knowing and wondering. There is a line drawn like a horizon but it is not. It is a line between the dualities that sway inside us. The dream and reality that mixes up and makes us human. The collision that affirms that we are alive! 

I will keep painting it for as long as it keeps tapping my shoulder."
